Oil Is the Fuel That The Planet Provides

      And we are meant to use it to its fullest capacity.  Oil is a naturally produced product of great versatility and therefore, value.  Not only can it serve in some form or another as a myriad of fuels, it's the primary source of mechanical lubricants, and a major ingredient in plastics and building materials and an essential part of  many manufacturing processes.
    And contrary to popular belief, oil is a renewable quantity.  Maybe not to the degree that we're using it in the 21st century, but the planet continues to create new oil, continuously, however slowly, even as you read this.  The geological forces that have created the vast reservoirs of oil within the planet over the course of  millions of years did not cease to function when man discovered its usefulness and began extracting it from the ground.  Granted, we probably are depleting tapped fields immeasurably faster than the planet can replenish them.  The good news is that there are fields that have never been tapped and others that were tapped, but capped long before they dried out.      Many of those capped wells and virgin fields are right here in the U.S.A.  Throughout the interior of the country, there are probably thousands of positively producing wells that have been capped by or on behalf of corrupt politicians and commercialists corrupting capitalism.  Beware the government/industrial complex.  There are the known, but presently forbidden fields off of various sections of US coastline, like the Carolinas, Florida, the Gulf coast, California, and of course Alaska.  There's ANWR, which is temperately another planet to which no one goes and about which no one knows.  Then there's the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah, which may hold the planet's largest oil depository.  When shale oil was discussed in the seventies, it was not, at that time, economically feasible to try to bring it to market, as it would have had to be sold at about forty dollars a barrel in a market that had turned topsy turvy by the more than doubling of the per barrel price...from approximately nine dollars to nineteen dollars.  Now, with OPEC oil at a minimum of sixty dollars a barrel, Rocky Mountain shale oil has a whole new sheen to it, especially if it is true that with technological advancements over the past thirty years, it could be brought to market for perhaps twenty-five, or maybe even ten dollars a barrel.                The first and fastest step to energy independence is to immediately start to utilize the oil we have in America by uncapping those mid-western and western wells, drilling in all of those other aforementioned locales and  building a new refinery or ten, perhaps on some of our abandoned military bases.  After that, we can seriously pursue viable alternatives, like constructing some new nuclear power plants, building better batteries, and seeking the secrets of solar power.
       Feel good, but brain dead ideas like ethynol and bio diesel are nothing more than Ma Chalmers' soybean farm.  Wind power is not viable in any real sense, in that the wind farm to power New York City would have to be the size of Connecticut.  Of course, coal remains an important alternative to oil.  But the anti-capitalist communists posing as environmentalists like coal less than they like oil as a source of American energy.  Both of those sources are fine for China and the like, all conveniently exempted from the great grand Kyoto Protocols.  And though America does more than any nation on Earth to minimize pollution from the burning of such fossil fuels, we're the bad guys for opting out of that ridiculous renunciation of western civilization.        
      At this critical juncture in American and world history,  to keep our and our allies' economies and societies safe, we must bust the trusts of the government/(oil) industrial  complex to get existing wells flowing again and we must tell the anti-capitalist socialists posing as environmentalists that we are going to increase  American refining capacity as much as necessary and extract as much American oil as we need from new American sources and that they can all go to hell, or to China, or to Cuba, or to Venezuela, where I hope that Hugo Chavez drowns in his excess of unsellable supplies of Citgo that we won't need or want any longer.

The 14th Amendment is Being Misinterpreted

      I'm not sure at what point in American history the fourteenth amendment was first grammatically misinterpreted and therefore constitutionally and legally misinterpreted, as it continues to be to this day, raising this whole stupid "anchor baby" issue.  The fourteenth amendment was not penned, proposed and proclaimed between 1866 and 1868 to cover all persons born within this country's borders through all time.  The fourteenth amendment was written for the purpose of declaring that the freed slaves of America were citizens of the nation and of the state in which they resided and that they would be afforded equal protection under the law.
      Section 1 of Amendment 14, which is the only section of the three with which we're concerned relative to this issue, consists of two sentences.  The first sentence, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside", is composed of a clause and a phrase that are  written in past and present tenses relative to the 1860's, following the War Between the States.  The verbs "born" and "naturalized" are written in past tense, referring to those persons who were already born or naturalized here in 1866.    The phrase "...and subject to..." and the verb "are" are present tense constructs acting as a present participle phrase and bestowing a present (i.e. 1860's) state of being, that state being national and state citizenship, upon persons live birthed or naturalized at the time of the amendment's writing 140 years ago.    It was not written to apply to any baby birthed (especially not to any baby birthed at the taxpayers' expense) on our doorstep by some foreign national who has illegally invaded our country for the sole purpose of birthing that baby in America, so as to take advantage of mentally disordered liberal interpretations of our Constitution 140 years later. 
      It is only the second sentence in Section 1 that addresses issues in the future tense with the future tense verb "shall".

    So what is involved in battening down our borders, learning our language, and cultivating our culture, so that we might ensure our sovereign survival?   There's actually quite a lot to consider and construct to accomplish these most important goals.  However, each and every consideration and construct are simple and basic and shall not be difficult to do, as they are concepts that were, at one time in America, implemented into action on a daily basis as an inherent matter of course.  There should be enough of that still existent in America and innately ingrained in Americans, so that resuming those policies and practices should be intellectually instinctual. 
    I've longed advocated "The Brownsville to San Diego Fences and Trench Project."  However, a flaw has been realized.  It must be "The El Paso to San Diego Fences and Trench Project."  As we would have to construct any border barrier well on our side of the actual, legal, surveyed, internationally recognized border, we can't fence off the wildlife and domestic herds from the Rio Grande.    So, along the Texas Mexico border, we should do as Mexico does with its southern border:  Militarize it as an active combat zone so that every inch is protected against invasion and encroachment.    Strengthen The Border Patrol in every way possible, utilize The Minutemen and other such citizens' volunteer organizations,  train various National Guard units  in the  practice of border security , assign Coast Guard craft to patrol the river, and redeploy  active troops from areas around the globe like Germany and South Korea.  (Of course, the Korean withdrawal has to be done in a very specific manner, and that's a whole other issue.)  That should be sufficient manpower and materiel to employ overt, "eyes on" observation and immediate interdiction at every point along that river.  Such immediacy and dense deployment would not be necessary along the fences and trench, as any encroachment would be detected at its outset and would be defeated  before its completion. This would be done by U.S. military and/or paramilitary forces posted or dispatched near enough to respond with sufficient strength and speed to stop it and to stop it with extreme prejudice where and when necessary.  And the extreme prejudice policy will be implemented from Brownsville to San Diego.
       Of course, all of this proposed border security would not be necessary, at least relative to the "undocumented workers", if policies in place inside the country were replaced by policies that would discourage and disallow such practices as working with falsified social security numbers,  obtaining educations, medical care and other social services at the taxpayers'  expense, and sending twenty billion dollars to Mexico each year to prop up its ungodly corrupt government.  This could be largely accomplished with a few obvious actions.  Overrule on appeal and impeach Clinton and Carter appointed federal judges who insist on legislating from the bench on laws lawfully passed by duly elected representative bodies and ballot initiatives.  Punitively penalize and punish employers, landlords,  financial institutions, and others who knowingly conduct business with illegal aliens that should not be conducted with illegal aliens.  Under asset forfeiture rules, seize the illegal aliens' money before they can send it over the border.  And cease and desist from misinterpreting the fourteenth amendment, so as to put an end to this stupid anchor baby phenomenon.  Do those things, and the illegals already here would self deport and those on their way would turn back before they arrived.  Then, we could concentrate on interdicting Islamofascists, which is, according to one deranged, most probably Democrap Sector Chief in Texas, the sole responsibility of The Border Patrol.  And let's also somehow remind President Calderon that Mexico DOES end at its borders, just as every sovereign nation ends at its borders.
           English is the language of the land whether you like it or not.  Whether or not it is a violation of that mid nineteenth century treaty, it has been the language of the land that far back and beyond.  Whether or not it is only because the evil, Anglo Caucasoid explorers, pioneers, and settlers forced it on the other inhabitants, it is the language of the land because it is the law of the land.  English is the language of business, science, aviation, and diplomacy.  Among the UN's six official languages and two working languages, English is, in practicality, the sole working language at the UN.  English is the global lingua franca. 
      There are some western Mongoloids and a lot of Hispanic Mullatoids from south of the border who proclaim that Spanish should be the language of the land, as the land should be theirs as as it was their ancestors'.  Of course, their ancestors surrendered and sold the land to our ancestors, thus making moot this demand for sovereign transfer of territory.  These ignorant, uneducated, imbecilic reconquistadors haven't learned so much as their own history, so maybe they're incapable of learning a language as lovely and complex as English.  That  would be a good reason for them to remain south of The Rio Grande and The Gasden Purchase.  There, they can curse the Caucasoids of America in what they think is their ancestral tongue of Spanish, which is, of course, a language forced upon their ancestors in their homelands of Central and South America by Caucasoid Conquistadors unrelated to the Caucasoids who began and built the United States.         
      It is also the law in America, that to be a citizen, one has to be proficient in English.  And since it is the law to be a citizen in order to vote, why do we need ballots in varied languages?  But that's another issue.  What does it mean to be proficient in English?  Forget about all the illegals and others in this country who know English as only a barely understood second or third language, if at all.  Our government schools are graduating citizen idiots whose families have been in America for generations who can barely scratch out their own names with a crayon and couldn't correctly construct a conversational sentence if their lives depended on it.  I want more than the use of English; I want proper usage of English.  I want to hear "How do you do?"  or "Hello" rather than "Whuzzzzup!?!" or "Que pasa?"  At least give me "What's up?" or "What's happening?"  There are a million examples like that, but that comes primarily from the degradation of our culture, which is also another issue that we'll ponder in a moment.  And I want insipid scholars, idiotic intellectuals, and supposedly educated informers and entertainers to learn the difference between "was" and "were"  and "who" and "whom."  I want people to say "isn't", "wasn't", "doesn't" and "hasn't", rather than "idn't, wudn't, dudn't, hadn't".  And I want people to know that it is only acceptable to use the verb "ain't" only in conjunction with the pronoun "I".
     Again, like it or not, this is a culture of capitalistic Caucasoid Christo-Judaists.  Does that mean that members of other racial heritages are not welcome to contribute to the greatness of America?  No.  But it does mean that they do adapt  Caucasoidal inquisitiveness and imagination, work ethic and sense of individualistic  rights and responsibilities that have made America the best nation state in history, rather than maintaining instinctual ignorances and tribal turbulence, so as to convolute America's greatness.  Does that mean that peaceable practitioners of other religious belief systems are not free to reside and worship here?  No.  But it does mean that they accept that the cultural underpinning of our country's legal and social systems are based in Biblical teachings.  The Founders screwed 21st century Americans by miswording the freedom of religion clause of the first amendment.  They were, without doubt, the most brilliant and bravest humans in history.  But even they couldn't foresee two centuries into the future.  Instead of  "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof", it should read, "The right of every individual to peaceably practice any belief system shall not be infringed."  That would make the soon coming necessity of dealing with American mosques and the Islamoburghs around the country interpretatively easier.  Does it mean that commercialists of other economic systems are unwelcome in America?  Well, yes, on that one, it does.  Those people would be some form of socialists or fascists, and we don't need or want that.  There are two lessons that I have learned about capitalism. The first one is, "The only thing wrong with capitalism is capitalists." That should be "some" capitalists, because not all capitalists have no concern beyond the bottom line and avaricious  self enrichment.  The second lesson is, "Capitalism is the worst, evilest, most repressive, oppressive, slavish, soul destroying economic system ever devised, except, of course, for everything else".

Who IS Jilani Humayun and What Did He Do?

    ABC News says that he is "a New York man".  The PR Newswire-US Newswire says that he is "a Long Island man" with at least two aliases.  The Herald Tribune describes him as "a New York man" in its headline and as "a U.S. man" in the body of the story.  Townhall.com has labeled him as "a Pakistani national."  The AP quotes his lawyer's description as "a true New Yorker...who lives with his wife and son and has to contend with illnesses including a heart condition, diabetes, and hypertension."  Deep into its story, The AP does quote the U.S. Attorney as saying that Humayun "is a citizen of Pakistan with contacts abroad and money" who should be held without bail.  U.S. Magistrate Judge Ronald Ellis declared that Humayun  is not a flight risk upon releasing him to return to his home in Lynbrook.  And I'd wager that it's a really nice home that he and his family are packing up as quickly as possible in order to get him to a country with no extradition treaty with the U.S.  Maybe he'll go to the country where he 'allegedly' sent the jet parts: Iran.
        With Townhall and The AP finally giving him some specific demographic identity and with his name, I'd say that it's a safe bet to say that he's just another jihadist muslim, hellbent on and driven to the destruction of the United States, western civilization, and all things and peoples not islamic.  And since we now know that he's not a U.S. citizen, despite the fact that he's been living here since 1981, and that ICE has been one of the investigating agencies, can we assume that he's also an illegal alien on top of it all?
      Humayun is charged with eleven counts of violating the Arms Export Control Act as well as conspiracy to commit mail fraud and money laundering, punishable by up to 150 years in prison upon conviction.  Let's get back to basics and keep it simple.  Even if he receives maximum sentencing, at age 59 and in poor poor pitiable health, he wouldn't be in prison long.  But I don't want to us (US) to pay for one day of upkeep on this man.  Depending on his citizenship and immigration statuses, he is guilty of treason and/or espionage and should be executed in the public square on worldwide television, especially Al Jazeera.  And since he has admitted to investigators what he did, I see no real reason to continue with the "allegedly" charade.  I'm sure that Joyce London, his pinheaded attorney would vehemently disagree, saying that he's just a pitiably sick, good American family man who has only gone to Pakistan once since coming here.  So, Joyce, how many times has he gone to Malaysia, Iran, or other enemy states?  And how many emails, telephone calls, telexes, text messages, letters have carried communications between this avaricious a**hole and unknown people in places unknown?  You are the lunatic lunkheaded lawyer.  I hope that you enjoy the blood money he's paying your sorry shyster self.
    Again, let's get back to basics and keep it simple.  And this is assuming, of course, that his admissions to investigators and prosecutors are proof of his guilt.  He is not guilty of criminal activities.  He is guilty of acts of war.  And I hate to keep reminding you people, that despite the fact that life here in America goes on pretty much normally, we are at war with a dangerous and deadly enemy who wants us all in burkhas or graves.

The Great Non-Issue Issues

     For the most part, my individualistically American conservatism makes most conservatives seem as sissified socialists.  But there is one area within the arena of open discourse in which not even I can go that far to the right.  Morality, particularly relative to sexuality, is a subject that is subject to each and every individual's personal intellect,  emotionality, and physicality.  As long as an individual's personal morality, particularly relative to sexuality, does not cause demonstrable loss and/or harm to another through force and/or fraud, there is no issue of public policy.
     Of all of the established political parties in the country, The Veterans' Party has it right and says it best.  The final paragraph at the bottom of their platform main page states, "Issues concerning a religious or moral nature should not be a political football being tossed around while throwing dispersions at others.  Therefore, once again we say that this issue be discussed at your place of worship and in your home and should not be a part of the political arena."  They used to say it even better:  "If you want religious issues, go to your congregation and discuss it there.  Morals and morality come from your family, not the government.  So, if you want to tell other people how to live their lives, how to think, how to dress, or what they can and cannot do to their bodies, then become a prison warden or a political party in some middle eastern country and rule there."  And the Pansexual Peace Party deserves applause for their simple, straightforward exclamation, "Sex Is Good.  Sex Is Great.  Yeaaaaaah Sex!"
     But there are moralistic myrmidons who would mandate through the police power of government that no one be allowed to perform any sexual activity that does not conform to the constructs of their misinterpretation of millennia old, probably wrongly translated religious texts.  These are the same morons that insist that the Earth is six thousand years old and that it is the center of the universe, staying still while every other celestial body moves around it.  These are mostly misogynistic men with bald pates, paunch bellies and pencil sized penises who have never orgasmed a woman in their pathetic lives.  And it is through legal decision and legislation lewder than any eroticism, that these sorry excuses for Americans would exert whatever manly control possible over women.  Because their physical and emotional ineptitude in dealing with the fairer gender prevents them from achieving the goal sought by all men, that being  being a desired lover, these wonderlover wannabes would use the coercion of the courts and the compulsion of Congress to exert power that they personally can't.  And there are, of course, women of like mind.  Women who have, sadly, never experienced their own sexuality beyond the to be pitied performance of their dirty wifely duties for their horribly horrid husbands, or the impulse to procreate.            
     Let's address the specific non-issues within this realm.  Firstly, there's abortion.  This is the one action in which men without uteri want to most forcefully exert their dominance over women.  They have absolutely no right to literally point a loaded gun at a woman and compel her to birth a baby she doesn't want.  As for their argument that that which is inside her is an independent life deserving of  all rights and recognition of  personhood, it is flawed.  Traditionally, historically, and legally, life has always begun at birth.  That's why there are birth certificates and not conception certificates.  From the moment of fertilization, there is potential for a life, just as there is potential for a natural miscarriage and for a stillborn.  You want to outlaw abortion?  Fine.  First, codify it into law that life begins at conception and at the moment of pregnancy discovery, that that fetus, zygote, whatever, has all the rights and responsibilities of personhood.  That will cause more moral dilemmas than you pea-brained pinheads have even contemplated contemplating.   And this might be a horrible, hateful statement to make,  but  there are  people who should have been terminated pregnancies.
    Next, there's the questions of homosexuality.  Many of you would enjoy  a right to kill the queers, as many contemporary practitioners of the peace loving religion of Islam do.  But you settle for denying them their rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. No one is more disgusted by the loudmouthed flamers screaming and screeching with the aid of the mindless media than I.  But I recognize that these idiots are not representative of the millions of decent homosexual Americans who live privately and peaceably among us, working daily to earn the same rights and responsibilities as heterosexual and asexual Americans.  Say what you want about definition, marriage is nothing but a state sanctioned and recognized religious rite steeped in millennia of dogma.  It is nothing more than a consensual contractual agreement between persons to live together and presumedly have sex together.  And if there is a man (and we know that there is) who would rather put his p***s into another man's rectum rather than into a woman's vagina, and if there is a woman (and we know that there is) who would rather perform cun*****gus than fel**tio, it's none of our damned business, as long as they don't do it in the public square, so to speak.  Just like it's none of our business about anybody else's heterosexual habits or polyamorous or polygynous proclivities.  Too blunt for you?  Tough.  Grow up and get over it.  Just because you were never any good at sex, doesn't give you any right to abridge the rights of others who are, however and with whomever they share it, within the bounds of contractual consent.
      Other personal matters that have been turned into public concerns by declaring 'war' on them are drugs and poverty.  Long before LBJ's Great Society, there were poor people, as there continues to be poor people, as there shall forever be poor people.  In a free market, capitalistic open society, poor people generally choose to be poor, and there is no amount of socialistically governmental give-aways that will ever make them anybody other than poor people.  The same holds true for drug users, abusers, dealers and distributors.  In twenty-first century America, there's not a real dime's worth of difference between cocaine factories and meth labs  and the pharmaceutical manufacturers, as there's not much separating street gangs selling narcotics and licensed medical doctors over-prescribing unproven medications for non-existent conditions.  As long as those people involved in drug making and taking, wholesaling and retailing don't cause others loss or harm through force or fraud, there is no issue of criminality. or civil liability.  While drugs might be a mitigating circumstance relative to other committed crimes, they are, of and by themselves, not something that should be subject to criminal prosecutions.  After all, early America prospered on the cash crops of tobacco and hemp and the very civilization of man was built around beer.
      As for gambling, prostitution, and other 'vice' crimes, the virtuous are free to try to pry the practitioners of vice away from their avocations, so that they may live more puritanic lives.  However, conversion techniques may not include the use of force or fraud or the police power of government.

And The Next Plank Is


      To make good on the past empty party line promises to limit the size and scope of the federal government.  The Constitution is clear about what the role and function of the national government is to be.  Couple that with common sense to know how many executive departments there should be, though the framers didn't specify a specific number.  They knew that that should be left open to meet the needs of changing times and circumstances.  They did not know that those changing times and circumstances would consist of an encroaching socialism and an emerging and evolving political class hellbent on preserving their power and insulating themselves within bulwarks of bureaucracy.
    Like any chartered organization, the U.S. government is mandated to perform certain, specific tasks that must be administered by competent, conscientious executives serving at the pleasure of the chief executive, the President, who is answerable to those who can vote every four years and to those who can impeach and convict at any time between those elections.
     The early Presidents had it correct in developing the very few executive departments necessary for overseeing the Constitutionally mandated operations of the federal government.  And even today, two hundred plus years later, the President's cabinet should still consist of the Vice President, Secretaries of State, Treasury, Defense, an Attorney General, and even though there is a contemporary train of thought that the the mail should be totally privatized, I know that once upon a time, the U.S.. Postal Service did a bang-up job, and could again, with proper leadership and management, so I say that Postmaster General should still be a cabinet post.  I'll even capitulate to the Cabinet position of Surgeon General.  As it is such a monumental task to build and maintain an interconnecting traversable infrastructure that reaches each and every individual citizen, legal resident and visitor, I would say that there should be a Department of Transportation, to release the Post Office from that Constitutionally mandated responsibility.   Since one of the government's few specific specified functions is "to regulate commerce", I'll acquiesce to a Commerce Department and its Secretary.
     As for all of the other Cabinet Secretaries and Cabinet level advisers, their duties should be rolled back into the job descriptions of the Cabinet members who actually have some Constitutional validity or be eliminated altogether.  The Department of Interior should be a division of the State Department, equivalent to that department's Foreign Service, to attend to matters of internal political affairs concerning the states, commonwealths, possessions and the citizenries therein.  And shouldn't the U.S. Trade Representative be the Secretary of State?..and/or the Secretary of Commerce?  Or better yet, a sub Cabinet level bureaucratic functionary whose function is to barter and broker nationally favorable commercial transactions as a trained and talented trader and nimble negotiator?  We could even pay him or her  commissions on well done deals.  That might help eliminate such problems as fecal infested produce from Mexico and poison pet food from China.          And aren't Homeland Security and Veterans' Affairs parts of a Defense Department?  Departments of Agriculture, Education, Energy, Labor, HHS, HUD, the ONDCP, and the EPA are nationally socialistic inventions and capitulations to special interests which all far overreach the designated authority of government and should be eliminated outright and forthwith.  And shouldn't the Secretary of the Treasury be the budget director?  Or, if there HAS to be a Budget Director, he or she should be another of those functionaries whose primary function would be to insure that the budget is always balanced, ledgered by the rules of Accounting, not through the cooking of the federal books.  And  then, there are all of these Chiefs of Staff, who, as we viewers of "24" know, are generally nothing but trouble. 
      And speaking of the job of Chief of Staff...it seems that every elected and appointed official has to have one, so as to bloat the bureaucracy and insulate him- or herself .  All elected officers and politically appointed officials should serve as their own Chief of Staff, as Jack Kennedy, the last President to do so, did.  These people should be allowed to hire clerical and communicative staffs necessary to the operation of the office, but no more hiring of lawyers and the like to be Aides and Advisers.  Make it so that these people whom we elect to do a job, actually do that job,  rather than having it done in their names by a pant load of pinheaded, pansified Ivy League socialist social climbers, bucolically bumbleheaded bureaucrats, and lowlife lobbyists, who without those jobs would most likely be living in a commune, chasing ambulances, and/or asking the rest of us if we want fries with our burger, or if we need our windshield washed.                
       If our elected representatives in Washington had to do the work of writing legislation, maybe we wouldn't be so overwhelmed by so many overbearing, overreaching, oppressive laws and regulations.  And they would actually earn the salaries that we are paying them.  I wouldn't mind paying a group of real, working, representative government employees who worked as competent and conscientious servants of the people a whole lot more than the hundreds of thousands of dollars that we're presently paying our political class oligarchs.  We could pay them incentive bonuses for being good stewards of the nation's time, talent, and treasury.  And if any of them breach the public trust of their office, through acts of force or fraud, they will be subject to the most punitive penalties and punishments possible, including exile and execution.     
       Modern legislation, laws, rules, and regulations are written in legalese, the lawyerly language of shysters and charlatans.  And their primary purpose is not public benefit.  They perpetuate that ever expanding political class and burgeoning bureaucracy by progressing pet projects of pinheaded politicos and politico wannabes and by conveying kickbackable courtesies to connected commercialists corrupting capitalism. Through pork, power corrupts and through perpetual pork, absolute power corrupts absolutely.  Remember what Ike said: "Beware the military/industrial complex."   And be mindful to beware other governmental complexes, like the government/education complex that allows teachers' unions to implement a policy of non-education and especially beware the government/media complex that creates and controls mass communications and its content  through cooperative coexistence with preferred and preferential pundits and press outlets, together prostituting the once proud, one constitutionally protected profession of journalism, which seems to exist only to sell celebrityism and schlock. 
      We must elect principled persons and not performing personalities as President.  We need people who know that the Presidency is not a post from which to royally rule.   We deserve the kind of persons who recognize that George Washington's start of the two term tradition should not have needed the 22nd Amendment.  But our most socialistic President to that point in American history, FDR, mucked that up.  And we need to elect  Representatives and Senators who wish to serve their constituencies as members of a citizen Congress for a term or two, or few, rather than those, like Ted Kennedy, Kerry, McCain, Feingold, Byrd, Lott, Rockefeller, Nancy Pelosi,  Strom Thurman, Gerry Ford, Jesse Helms, Howard Coble, Mel Watt, and others, past and present, too numerous to name or even remember, who wish to wield personal and party line political power over their countrymen and -women while obtaining, retaining and maintaining oligarchical perks and privileges through a lifelong career.  That is not to advocate legislated term limits, as any elected official who serves his or her constituents AND the nation as a whole with honor and integrity and intelligence should stay in office for as long as he or she desires and an informed and enlightened electorate dictates.  But as we presently don't have an informed and enlightened electorate, who thinks that their Congressperson and Senators are great, and that it's the other 532 buffoons that are causing all of the problems.  Believe it, people:  Your Congressperson and Senators are most probably just like my Congressman and Senators; three party line political hacks.

Let's Start Here


In building a political platform, let's begin with the most basic function of government, that of course being

TAXATION

Besides the necessary tariffs, imposts, and duties laid to goods and services from other 'third world' economic systems of slave labor and controlled markets which would be requisite to have any hope of an equitable exchange of trade, the primary means of raising revenue shall be through implementation of  H.R. 25, The Fair Tax Act, as is,  without edits, amendments, add-ons or earmarks.  The first official act of any elected  representative or senator espousing our platform shall be to sign-on as a co-sponsor of this bill.

Then, of course,  we must consider how we, as a nation  shall interact  with other sovereign states worldwide in

FOREIGN AFFAIRS

     We must first realize that America is unique in the history of human civilization, being a concept, a country, a culture  of  Capitalistic, Caucasoid Christo-Judaists.  Does that we mean that we do not allow ones of different races or religious peaceable practices to be a part of America?  No.  Although, it does mean that fascists, socialists, and other anti-capitalists are not welcome, as their economic theories are completely contrary to individualistic freedom and achievement.  It simply means that those C-C-C's and others in the American melting pot have accomplished more and caused more to be accomplished in two short centuries than all of the others combined have managed to accomplish in ten millennia.  And that is the primary reason that so many of the planet's peoples hate us.  We must accept that, unapologetically and guiltlessly in our dealings with them.  There are doubtlessly secondary and tertiary reasons for so many countries and cultures to want to literally kill us.  Democraps and Repulsicans have made horrible foreign relations decisions over the years, particularly during the past sixty or so. 
      There are perhaps a handful of nations around the world who generally and genuinely wish us well, rather than heaving hatred our way.  With them, we should form a new treaty organization, The Capitalist Coalition, pledging  all mutual cooperation in all matters.  Its very name denotes its make-up and mission.  This plank proposes  joining with Canada, Great Britain, and Australia, as long as they abolish their programs of socialized medicine.  Others invited to sign the treaty would include Japan, India, and Israel.  We'll watch to see if France, Denmark, and other European nations, or the EU as a whole continue their recent moves toward conservatism and capitalism.  There's maybe a couple of South American countries that we'd invite, but none of them would be Venezuela.  I would like to invite the Taiwanese and the South Koreans, but as a matter of practicalities, we must most likely surrender to China any and all obligations to Taiwan and maybe even South Korea.  We would do that only after evacuating all Taiwanese and South Koreans who wish to come to and assimilate in America.  They would surely be better immigrants than the illegal riff-raff who invade our southern border or the throngs of third world and muslim refugees  being welcomed by the Democraps and Repulsicans.  And that would happen only after showing Kim Jong mentally Il how tactically detonated nuclear devices work when we pop a small one off over one of his military revues, proudly parading his new nuclear bombs and how conventional smart bombs can destroy an entire military contingent along the north side of the 38th parallel.    As part of that capitulation to the communist Chinese, we will reassume our control and management of the Panama Canal, which was relinquished in perhaps the stupidest Repulsican/ Democrapic decision in American history.
     Beyond those few, we will treat every socialistic, fascistic, theocratic third world despotic dictatorship of a backwashed, backwoods banana republic the same.  We will engage in open equitable trade, if such is fiscally possible, but there shall be no more humanitarian aid or military assistance to any outside the coalition.
       In answer to any threat or attack, jihadist islamic, or otherwise, to or upon us or our allies' safety and security, we shall respond with the full force of 21st century capitalistic, Caucasoid, Christo-Judaic warfare.  For example:  After Congress issued their declaration of war Thursday evening, September 13th, 2001, plans should have been implemented so that on Friday September 14th, our and our allies' air and naval forces would decimate most every mosque, madrasah, terrorist training camp, and government installation we could identify from Morocco to Pakistan at such time of day or night so as to inflict the most grievous retribution.  And we should have found and destroyed the rest a week later, in the same manner.  Those attacks would have followed the cruise missile explosions in the middle of those street dancing demonstrations that erupted immediately after the 9-11 attack, whether those demonstrators were in Dubai, Damascus or Dearborn.  As for our current practice of playing police between warring factions that have been warring factions for centuries, it's time to alter our role to one of warring faction to show these seventh century, religiously retarded savages with 21st century weaponry what real 21st century weaponry is and how it is to be fully utilized, by, at first opportunity utilizing maybe our greatest untapped resource, that being all the millions of waste of skin and air American youths who spend much, most, or all of their time and energy playing video games; many, much or most of those games being competitive kill or be killed scenarios.  Train them, as training is necessary, that their consoles are controlling real robotic soldiers in actual combat zones engaging in real time, real life kill or die encounters.  In the rare cases in which the enemy wins, we only lose  multimillion dollar pieces of high tech machinery, rather than more American lives, which DO have more value than one or many or any of theirs.  These remote control devices would be utilized in areas following Air, Naval, and Artillery bombardment and decimation and preceding interdiction by real live breathing boots on the ground.  Until the actualization of that invention,  we must  employ the Powell Doctrine of using overwhelming force to overpower our enemy.  That means using every technological tool of warfare to defeat the enemy as fast and with as few casualties as possible.  It doesn't mean putting a bunch of breathing boys (and girls) in boots on the ground to go into face to face fighting using rifles, pistols, and knives.
As you don't win a chess match with pawns, you don't win a war with infantry platoons.
      To win the war against islamofascism, we must recognize that they are a formidable foe who wants to extinguish our existence. We must recognize that they are religiously retarded historical throwbacks and not educated, enlightened 21st century liberals with whom peace through political appeasement is possible.  We must remember General Patton's philosophy that "You don't win a war by dying for your country [or cause];  you  win a war by making the other poor dumb bas*ard die for his country [or cause]."   And recall Patton's belief that "Compared to war, all endeavors of man shrink to insignificance."  The purpose of war is to kill people and break things before they kill you and break your things.  In all past wars, innocent civilians have died. This one is different in that there are no innocents.  The so called moderate muslims are evolutionary, rather than revolutionary.  They are content to let conversion, rather than the revolutionaries' means of murder and enslavement be the way by which to eradicate all other religions and their infidels, which is the primary premise of this cult system that is way more political than pious, and much more concerned with international politics and power than with individual piety and peacefulness.  These "moderates",  through their patience, don't openly advocate or operate by the ways and means of their impatient, jihadist fellow believers.  Unable and/or unwilling to actively and overtly participate in this war, they allow and encourage it, closetedly or clandestinely; secretly,  silently, or subversively, because they envision the same end as their "brave" brethren do.  That end is the end of us.  So, we better win this war before they do, at which time they would inflict upon us surviving souls a cruelly intolerant and intolerable culture wherein women are chattel, clitorectomies and honor killings are just parts of a ludicrous lifestyle of primitive practices of death and destruction.
     And we should definitely reactivate the neutron bomb program, if we haven't already.  There's at least a couple of locations where they might very well be needed.

It's Not Party Or Even Personality

   
    For most of a half century, I have heard politics discussed in terms of parties and personalities.  "I vote a straight party line, because in every race and on every issue, my party is right!  Harrrumph!!!  "I vote for the best person for the job, regardless of party!  Harrrumph!!!"  "I vote for the candidate(s) who espouse(s) the identical ideology as I do on this particular issue  or two, and if none of them do, I don't vote for any of them!  Harrrumph!!!"  What a bunch of idiots we have become.  Our founders and forebears would be forlorn.
    People, we have to start remembering and/or realizing that politics is not about perpetual parties and professional players within those parties.  Politics is about principles.  Principles with which a representative republic can be founded and fostered, built and bolstered and tested and triumphant!  Those principles are the plain basic truths that we hold to be self-evident.  That America is a country of concept as well as construction, based on the principled premise that every individual has the personal and private liberty and freedom to think, believe, say and do any and every thing he or she desires and imagines, so long as none of those thoughts, beliefs, words, or actions cause demonstrable loss and/or harm to another through force and/or fraud.  America is where, and how, people can peaceably  practice their talents and proffer their offerings in an open market, free enterprise capitalistic environment, wherein the government's primary, if not solitary function is to protect the people from loss and/or harm by force and/or fraud of another, particularly of the government itself.  Simple, huh?  And those simple principles have to be manifested into a platform, with each plank professing at the heart of that particular issue, a foundation in freedom.  And it is the platform, plank by plank, that must be the consideration of every person. pundit, politician, and party in attempting to progress policy and programs that will most positively benefit America as a whole, as well as the parts of her sum.
   Beginning with the next post, I will lay out a platform, perhaps the platform that could save America from the sovereign suicide that present platforms will only continue to hasten.  I look forward to your consideration and comments.

Is Duke Case Disposed?

When the story broke last year, I made the objective observation that it was a toss-up and a crap shoot that had only two possible outcomes.  It was either a case of Caucasoid, spoiled brat rich boys taking ultimate advantage of a poor, working class Negroid woman, OR it was a case of a slutty, skanky Negroid stripper prostitute dipping her brown thieving fingers into the deep Caucasoid pockets of pink faced Duke parents.
      Let's face it.  Though these student athletes do hail from a more moneyed and privileged background of achievement and ambition, it is probably a safe bet to wager that at any given time, they, as college students, had less money in their particular pockets than Crystal had, as a stripper/prostitute.  Yeah, yeah, yeah...She NEVER worked as a prostitute and she was also a college student making good grades.  Big deal.  She was enrolled at North Carolina Central University, a government school; the campus with America's worst rated law school and the state's worst rated nursing program.  And though I haven't placed a serious bet since Super Bowl III, I'd bet the farm that she was there with the support of taxpayer dollars, unlike the Duke students. Whether those dollars were from Pell or other government subsidized grants and loans, or some other type of welfare supporting her and her three baseborn babies, I know know know, without knowing that she is a player of the system, as she was when she got herself kicked out of the Navy with an illegitimate pregnancy.  Besides the charges relative to this case, like false accusations, slander, libel, etc., that sissified State Attorney General Roy Cooper refuses  to press, she needs to be investigated for welfare fraud and tax evasion and fraud, as well.
     For all of the race pimps and whores who integrated themselves into this case, like the Irreverands Jesse Highjackson and Al Sharkman, who immediately ignored the innocence presumption that they would have been most loudly trumpeting if the parties in this case had been racially reversed, proclaimed, with the help of their fellow travelers in the media and the professional protest profession, that ONLY case number one could possibly be the true one of the two.  They all should also be subject to slander and libel prosecutions.
     Then there's Mike Nifong the epitome of the greasy politician.  Caught up in all the media frenzy and no doubt influenced in person by these political idealogues whom he had, no doubt, worshiped, D.(umb) A.(ss) Mike decided that this case would be his way to advance his puny, pitiable political career.  Appointed by Governor "Tax Hike" Mike Easley (a graduate of the NCCU law school) to fill a vacancy, on the promise to not seek reelection, Nifong had to see this as his one best hope of becoming an important participant in the political class.  As a Caucasoidal, overly ambitious, underly ethical shyster lawyer/ lying politician seeking reelection from a largely Negroidal constituency, Nifong disregarded personal, historic, and scientific truth in favor of political principles, which are, in our present political system, almost always lies.  Such action did win him the election.  (What does that say about the voters In Durham?)  But it has, thankfully, hopefully, eliminated any chance of him being a political player in the future.  Resignation at his leisure and disbarment are not enough for this yabow.  Along with the other idiotic characters in this tragic comedy, Nifong must be subjected to any and all possible prosecutions, civilly and criminally.  And as an entrusted public official who, through acts of force and fraud, violated his public's trust, which should be  (though it's not) considered the most heinous of ALL crime.  After due process of criminal conviction and/or civil culpability, Mike Nifong should be sued for all of his worth, and imprisoned in the grungiest prison, among the general population or exiled to The Rat Islands for life, with no hope of parole or public payroll or pension.  The others; Crystal, the Irreverands and the professional protesters would only be subject to fraud considerations, since they lacked Nifong's ability to misuse the force of the police power of government.  And do the Durham voters who elected Nifong and does the governor who originally appointed him share any blame and responsibility?
     And Irreverand Highjackson, do you still intend to pay for the rest of Crystal's college education?

The Real 3 R's

As it has forever been through the oh, so slowly socially evolving but remaining largely barbaric history of humankind, so it is in our oh, so enlightened 21st century.  The politics of peoples, which is no more than the interactions of individuals and collectives, have always been and continue to be rooted in race, religion, and revenue.  And throughout history, political systems from tiny tribal groups who have not figured out how to cross the river or get over or around the mountain to The British Empire, on which, once upon a time , the sun never set,  have and have not made positive and /or negative impacts  on the family of man.
And in a nanosecond of the total time of man's existence; a mere two centuries among the millenia upon millenia through which humanity  has  lived on this planet, it is here, in the western hemisphere, the last portion of the earth's land to be inhabited; it is here, in the United States of America, that the greatest positive impacts have been made.  If not for the entrepreneurial, ever-expanding, economically motivated ego of America and its influence on similar souls and societies, we'd still be hunting, fishing, and trapping, farming with mule drawn plows, practicing medicine with incantations, and performing our bodily functions in the bushes, the river,  or a hole in the ground.  More social and technological progress has been made among men since the inception of America, because of America than throughout all of the rest of world history.
And how are these historic and scientific truths  to be explained?  Could it be something as simple and obvious, though SO politically incorrect to even imagine in our oh, so enlightened, multicultural world, that America is a society founded as and built into the, admittedly flawed, but still greatest system of human governance ever, by a particular type of people?     Capitalist, Caucasoid Christo-Judaists being that particualr type of people.

We're Missing the Point!

This  newest Repulsican President versus Demacrapic Congress frat boys/sorority sisters popularity contest that makes the safety of the American people and the sovereign survival of the nation the stakes in their little spoiled brats brouhaha is just another prime reason to get rid of every elected shyster with a D or an R behind his or her name!  With either designation, these party boys and girls playing party politics with our lives and our liberties are involved in gamesmanship that they think is still schoolhouse high jinx, when in reality they have somehow gotten themselves into a fixation that may not be fixable, as the outcome of their dunderheaded debates will be far more than a passing or failing grade from their pretentious pre-law debate class instructors.
     Should this Congressionally passed piece of putridity  and stupidity be vetoed by Bush?  Yes, oh my word, yes!  Because of the ridiculousness of  openly setting, if not an outrightly treasonous surrender date, a date for indefinite retreat?  Yes.  But the primary reason this balderdash bill needs to be trashed is for the millions, if not billions or maybe trillions of dollars of parochial pork stapled to legislation for which the purpose was supposed to be the funding of our military defending American security and safety.  And that's the point that everybody, especially our pitiful excuse for a free press is missing.
     As to the point of should we still be fighting the battle of Baghdad?...the Afghanistan campaign?  No is the the answer to both questions.  We should have fought and finished both operations and any other relative retaliation long ago. As immediately as was logistically possible following Congress' Declaration of War of September 13, 2001, U.S. and allied air and naval forces should have bombed into dust every government installation, mosque, madrasa and open "Death to America; Death to Israel" demonstration from Libya to Afghanistan, and we should have done so on those days and at those times when the loss of property AND personnel would have been maximized!  And we should have nuked Tora Bora into flatlands.  Then, we should have dared ANYbody: to say anything about it.  Especially the illiberal leftist here at home who would immediately cry for the innocent Mallatoid Arabs and Persians.  There are no innocent Muslims.  Because even the most progressive and peaceful Muslims, whom we can call Evolutionary Muslims, still adhere to the edicts of the most irrational and unreasonable religion of all the irrational and unreasonable religions of the world.  And by doing nothing beyond talking a good game of peace and love and harmony, they have allowed, and even encouraged, as they continue to allow aand encourage their braver brethren, whom we'll call the Revolutionary Muslims, to kill or otherwise conquer the infidels and rule the world.  Whether evolutionary or revolutionary, all Muslims support the concept of planetary subjugation to Sharia law.  Therefore, I say again, there are no innocent Muslims.  If there are souls who are members of the Muslim faith of falsities, who truly believe in peace, love, and harmony among all peoples and persons, let them denounce and disassociate themselves from this stone age sty of idiotic ideology.
      As for you illiberal leftists here at home and such places as socialist Europe, who think that all problems can be solved with talk and through negotiations, you've got to realize that that is ONLY true when you're dealing with other like minded illiberal, similarly socialistic, progressive, pinheaded pansies just like you!  And most of the rest of the world has not yet achieved your (or even our) level of enlightenment and intellectualism. 
And that's the real point!

It's All My Fault

      Recently turning fifty and having my father pass have made me more particularly reflective on matters of personal history as well as on  general  generalities.  These reflections have pointed out to me that  those things which  are wrong in my life in particular and in the world, especially America, in general, are all my fault.  I am, by and large, an underachiever.  One might say that I am the most unambitious American ever.  I am not money mad, success seeking, ambition achieving, or dreams driven.  It's not that I don't think that dreams are important and even essential. They are.  But for various and sundry reasons or excuses, my dream was simply to be pretty much left alone to do work I enjoy to pay for a place where I could comfortably and contentedly reside in my beloved, bucolic America, preferably in piedmont North Carolina, as the end of a family line of original Americans.  Charter Americans, if you will.  You know, those people who were British subjects one day and American citizens the next.  It happened back in the eighteenth century.  It was that time of such largely forgotten writings like the Declaration of Independence, The Federalist Papers, The U.S. Constitution, The Bill of Rights.  
      So, at this time, in late 20th-early 21st century America, I chose, for whatever reasons or excuses, to be a good, but unknown American.  I'd vote, serve jury duty and pay taxes.  But I'd let others continue the America in this century that my direct forebears helped construct in that prior century.  And American life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness would perpetually and peaceably progress through the American generations in which I would live and into those that I could foresee.
       For whatever reasons and excuses, I chose to be far more short-sighted and narrow visioned than our far-sighted and visionary Founding Fathers and forebears.  And in this past half century, unimaginable to me as a child, a youth and even as an young adult, that perpetual and peaceable progression has turned to some sort of sickly stagnation in a nation designed to be forever moving forward.  And it's happened because I and other Americans like myself (which includes many, if not most Americans) have allowed our country to be overturned to a leadership of pinheaded, pencil necked Ivy League Democrap dunces and Repulsican morons espousing and practicing the premises of Marxism, New Dealism, and The Great Society,  rather than the basic conservative concepts of Americanism which are the foundations of the greatest human system of governance ever devised and implemented.     We have allowed this to happen by forgetting perhaps the most important passage ever written when Thomas Jefferson penned " ...to secure..rights, Governments are instituted among (People), deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed---(and) whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government ... most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.  Prudence, indeed will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light or transient causes...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations...evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." 
As it was then with British royal rule, it has become now with Repulsican and Democrap dictates. We must NOW  provide for that future security by throwing off such Repulsican and Democrap dictatorial Government or America is not going to have a future, much less a secure future.  You Americans who are mostly from  multi-generational American lineages who don't vote must vote.  And you Americans, also mostly from multi-generational American lineages, who have the ability to govern, must govern. We must gather by the scores of millions  that we are, and throw off the governance of Repulsican and Democrap oligarchy.  Politicians, pundits, and the people who still know and revere the concept of Americanism must unite with a new political-social-economic agenda true to original Americanism, which is, while being cognizant that any society of people is a collective consisting of collectives, America, unlike governmental forerunners, is to be governed by the cultural concept and construct that American collectivism is secondary and tertiary to American individualism. Therefore, those of us who wish for our nation's survival for another 230 years have to get past the petty, meaningless agenda differences dividing us into groups of this or that particular type of American, so that we  can be one group of  individual Americans working and recreating together to forever ensure and effect our personally individual and nationally collective Safety and Happiness. Americans of all demographics, who have a grasp of history, an awareness of current affairs, and any modicum of common sense must save this nation from what it has become and is becoming, and we must do it in the 2008 elections, or it will become too far gone and too late, if it's not already.     
So, why is it all my fault?  Because, for those various and sundry reasons, I didn't pay enough attention in my public high school economics class; I didn't receive my B.S. in Law Enforcement Administration from UNCC c. 1979;  I wasn't instrumental in the implementation of 911 systems throughout North Carolina: I didn't receive my B.A. from UNCG c. 1985, as a pre-law student majoring in communications studies concentrating in broadcasting/cinema, organizational communication and journalism with a political science minor; I didn't receive my M.P.A. in policy administration  from UNCG c. 1987; I didn't write more influential columns  for the campus newspaper and I didn't  convert the university radio station  to at least partial news/talk programming from its horrid music format; I  didn't make any sound, futuristic personal financial decisions during that time; I didn't publish or broadcast or film make or teach on the college level; I didn't actively involve myself in politics beyond voting and verbally vilifying contemporary politicians to those within my narrow social circles; And I didn't defeat Terry Sanford and Lauch Faircloth in the 1992 Senatorial election. 
      If I had been willing to do all that, as I was capable of doing, I would be serving my third term now as an intelligent, well-placed, well-versed third party Senator from the great state of North Carolina and we wouldn't have most of the worries in America that we do now.  How?  Why?  Because that kind of Senator has more political power than the President and can serve to shut down the type of stupidity that is presently present in the U.S. Senate.  Ill conceived, capitulatory  to compromise, and recklessly reconstituted by the early 20th century American Socialists, The Senate is a governmental body in which if I served, I would work for its abolition, to implement a Republican-Democratic form of government with a popularly elected  one house legislature and President, and a much more constitutionally detailed judiciary.  Constitutionally specific Senate duties, like treaty and appointments approval would be performed by a Board of Governors from the several states. 
      More immediate issues would have been the defeat of Bill Clinton; the security of our sovereign borders; the eradication of radical Islam and the NEA; the end of personal and corporate welfare; the creation of a 10th Amendment Commission; the enactment of a policy of energy independence and export; the implementation of execution or exile to The Rat Islands as penalty and punishment for heinous or habitual crime, as well as for any breach of trust of public office; the indictment of the ACLU on Rico statutes; adopting the Fair Tax as the primary  means of federal taxation; a reevaluation of our treaties, especially the U.N. Charter, so that we only participate with a very select few foreign countries in the Capitalist Coalition; and in general, screaming louder than the ill liberal demagogic Democraps and rudimentary Repulsicans.  I accomplished none of that, and that's why it's all my fault.  I apologize for my selfish sin of sloth.
      In a feeble and tardy attempt to do my part as the American whom I am,  with the devices and talents available to me,  I shall put forth, here, and at theip.us, answers to America's ills, which wouldn't be so numerous and critical if I hadn't left them to be cured by others more willing but less able than I.  What conceit allows me to think that I have such abilities and talents? It's not conceit, but confidence and common sense and cognizance that I am always B.N. Sharpe, a formally and informally educated middle class Son of the American Revolution with a heretofore wasted intelligence quotient and inquisitiveness, who could very well be, as one American stated twenty years ago, "in some matters and manners, the wisest man alive."

Who Died This Week?

Anna Nicole Smith died this week.  Hundreds, thousands, maybe mindnumb millions will mourn her passing.  Why?  Did they know her?  Did she know them or care a whit about them?  The only living person with any such connection is too young to know or notice; that being her recently born, ill-conceived, illegimate baby. Of course, there is her mother, who seems smart enough to distance herself from her daughter's debauchery.   Is it her accompishments and achievemnets that will be memorialized?  As best as I can tell, she was nothing more than a vapid, ignorant, talentless hack of  a golddigging, drug addled, drunken prostitute.  After this week's weeping of crocodile tears and wailing of platitudes, who will cry or even really care?  Who will miss her or even remember her, except from the ridiculous reminders from a celebrity mad, mentally ill media?  They say that only the good die young, and at 39, she was young for death.  But if you ask me, except for the true tragedy of infant and childhood deaths, only the weak and the stupid die young.
Ned K. Sharpe died this week.  A few dozen, maybe a hundred hale and hearty souls, along with a largely unknowingly grateful nation paid last respects to this officer and gentleman this weekend.   He was a Harley rider and a Mustang driver.  He rode the fastest motorcycle and flew the fastest airplane of the day.  Did that make him careless, reckless, irresponsible?  No, it made him brave, daring, and adventurous.  I didn't get to know that Ned Sharpe. but I was and am influenced by him.  The Ned Sharpe I knew and know was the most caring, compassionate, and responsible.  Considering the times through which he lived and the time in which we live, he was a true Renaissance man.  He married for life, and to, oh, what a wife.  He dedicated his talents and training to a one employer career.  He committed his energy and his ego to raising a reasonably sound, mostly functional family in an America in which he was fervently proud as a Son of the American Revolution.  He was a warrior and a lover.  He fought the evils and negatives and adored the good and positive.  He was a sportsman, a tradesman, a craftsman, an artisan, a philosopher, a technician, an inventor, designer, and creator.  My favorite suit, an ages old, but fashionably timeless double breasted, two piece pinstripe was worn to his funeral in tribute to him.  I'm not saying that without him, I would have attended the service in nothing but my shoes, shirt and underpants.  I'm not claiming that Palm Beach Menswear would not have existed without him, but it wouldn't have been as good!   And that's pretty much true across the board.  Everyone and everything touched in any way by him was and is the better for it.   
We all learned so much from Ned Sharpe.  From him, his high school classmates learned higher mathematics when the teacher was out;  his squadron mates learned the intricacies of high performance combat flight,  his coworkers and colleagues learned better ways to make and improve the proverbial mouse trap, his daughter learned how to be a salutatorian, just like him.  And I learned more than I could ever recount in one writing, even if that writing were a thousand page tome.  Some stuff I still know, like how to tie perfect Windsor knots, half and full.  Some stuff, I'm not so sure about, like how to properly clean and cook fresh water fish.  But among those that are ingrained into my psyche iclude, "Eloquence is in simplicity"; "You can't get mad at something or someone unless you're admitting that they're smarter than you";  "If you can't tell the truth, keep your mouth shut, or you'll have to remember what lies you told to whom"; "Do your job, whatever it is, as the best whatever possible"; "Know enough about everything to hold up your end in an intelligent conversation, and know enough about one thing to make a decent, enjoyable living from it"; "You have to find the humor, even if, and especially if it's hard"; and."Ah, (w)ell, everything's going to be alright".
I know that in the grand scheme of things, he's all right about that.  But today, it just doesn't seem so.  Even after 83 full and well lived years, it was still too soon. 
 Ned Sharpe was, is, and forever shall be my Dad, my Pop, my father and my friend.  And I will miss him and I will remember him SOOOOO many...as will so many others.

Nancy is Right

In proclaiming  the November elections to be a call for change by the American people, our new second in line to the Presidency is correct.   And yes, she IS second, not third, as some have incorrectly stated.  The line doesn't begin with the President.  But that's another matter.  The matter at hand is that though the Speaker is correct that the American people are demanding changes.  But she and her new majority of Demoncats along with a number of liberally likeminded Repulsicans are incorrect about what changes the American people want.
The changes that the American people want cannot be made by any number or combination of Demoncats and/or Repulsicans.  These two political parties have become what many of the Founders feared most in their hope that no organized political parties would arise.  It was a hope that can best be described as truly American. A hope that individuals  would  proudly and  prudently represent  the other individuals in their geographic areas.  But even in a new nation so recently formed and forged by the sacrifices of so many individuals, the basic human instinct to congregate won out.                                                              So Now, 230 years later, we have two political parties that have arisen above the scores of others that most Americans don't even know exist. And with the aid of the technological advancements in communication and transportation, the Demoncats and the Repulsicans have been ever more able to convince a largely apathetic and unaware electorate that they, the Demoncats and the Repulsicans are the ONLY choices .  I, as one individual American, am tired  of hearing the phrase "lesser of two evils".  And I am tired of supporting a third party, which, as its most famous member said, "couldn't organize a dog show."
That is why we must, NOW, establish THE third party in America, before the Demoncats and Repulsicans can totally obliterate not only the sovereign nation of America, but also the concept of America.  America was, and is still, to some extent, that place were every individual is free to exercise every right and responsibility  in pursuing his or her life, liberty, and happiness.  This party, in order to achieve ANYthing, let alone the salvation of the nation, must focus on and promote that single, rudimentary concept as its platform's foundation, with every plank constructed from that concept.   Unlike other lesser parties of the past, it must be established on and promulgated by principles, not personalities.  Many have known for a long time and many more are coming to realize that the two party system is broken, has been for quite some time, and continues to break a bit more every election cycle and all in between.  Personalities like Theodore Roosevelt, George Wallace, Anderson, Perot, and Nader have shown that such campaigns can only reverse the standings of the big two without accomplishing any real change because there isn't really any difference in the big two.       
The one party that has arisen in recent American history to espouse  principle based campaigns has always had those pesky organizational and communicative problem, to the point of not even being allowed on the ballot anymore in my home state.  They were doomed from the start by picking a name that WAAAAY too many people couldn't define or comprehend.  Even my very own father, a reasonably well educated and informed man, thought that they were a bunch of left wing liberals.  As for all of these other existing and recently existed parties, they were doomed to failure by their personality driven, fractious natures.  How and why could there be such entities as the American Independent Party and the Independent American Party?  Or the Constitution Party and the Constitutionalist Party?  Or the Pot Party and the U.S. Marijuana Party?  And how can there be like a dozen different parties with the word Socialist as part of their names?
And how, among seventy some odd existing and recently existed parties, could not any one of them recognize the most important aspect in American politics; the individual voter?  They all deal with and for congregations, clubs, cliques, and collectives.  And the individual citizens have let them get away with it so much and for so long, that we all are dangerously close to becoming parts of a greater collective that will have nothing to do with America, as a place or a premise.  That greater collective could be Progressive or Islamic facism.  And that is why I propose  that a cross section of tens of millions of American citizens must unite as individuals to protect and preserve individuality as the cornerstone on which this country was founded.  We must establish and elect the Individualist Party.
